About · Since 1997
We are an in-house team of designers, programmers, and engineers, and we have been building for the show floor for nearly three decades. We build the technology, run it at the event, and report what it recorded.
The story
Reality Engineering was founded in 1997 in Vancouver, Washington. We started by building product models and animation for manufacturers, and the work kept pulling us toward the show floor: first custom interactives for trade show booths, then electronic literature and lead retrieval, then a lead platform of our own. Each step followed the same premise. Build the instrument, run it, report what it recorded.
Today that means Traffic Tracker™ LiDAR booth analytics and compliant congress scanning at roughly 200 events a year across 15+ countries, run from our headquarters in Washougal, Washington by the same in-house designers, programmers, and engineers who write the software.
Vancouver, Washington. We built physical product models and animation for manufacturers who needed their engineering explained clearly.
Clients asked us to bring that work to their booths. We began designing and building custom interactives for the show floor.
Interactives generated conversations, and conversations needed capturing. We moved into electronic literature delivery and lead retrieval.
We consolidated what we had learned into RE:nvent, our own lead platform: built in-house, run by the people who wrote it.

Our defining principle · the truth standard
“The only thing better than data is more data, as long as it is accurate.”
Facts
We report what happened, not what sounds good. It costs us the occasional flattering number. It earns us clients who trust every figure we hand them.
Rates
We quote realistic capture rates, never inflated ones. Knowing what a system misses matters as much as what it catches.
Method
Every report states how the data was collected and where its limits are. Caveats belong in the document, not in the fine print.
The masthead · the team
A small in-house team that designs, builds, runs, and supports everything we ship. No layers, no hand-offs to strangers.
Account Executive
Your point of contact from first conversation to final report, keeping scope, schedule, and expectations aligned.
Program Manager & Technical Lead
Runs each program end to end and leads the technical build, so what was promised is what gets deployed.
Accounting, Compliance & Badge Services
Handles billing, compliance requirements, and badge services with the same precision we apply to data.
Training & Support
Prepares booth staff to use our systems well and stays available when questions come up mid-show.
Technical Support
Keeps the technology running on the floor and resolves issues before they touch your data.
How we work
The way we run a program matters as much as the technology we bring to it. Four commitments hold for every engagement, every show.
We make exhibit houses shine. Your build, measured. Your client’s brand on the report. The partner philosophy
One point of contact from kickoff to final report. One person who answers for the whole program.
We build what we deploy. Designers, programmers, and engineers under one roof, no outsourcing surprises.
At the show, next to the booth, not on the other end of a ticket queue.
We commit to what we can deliver, then deliver it.
The next step
Book a demo and we will walk you through the technology, the methodology, and a real report, with its limits stated on the page.
